WAPDA, The Pakistan Water and Power Development Authority, was created in 1958 as a Semi-Autonomous Body for the purpose of coordinating and giving a unified direction to the development of schemes in Water and Power Sectors, which were previously being dealt with, by the respective Electricity and Irrigation Department of the Provinces.

Applications are invited from interested candidates (Male) for Medical Officers (BPS-17) in WAPDA Medical Services, WAPDA Hospital Sheikhmanda Quetta.
Medical Officer (BPS-17):
Qualification / Experience: MBBS equivalent recognized by PMDC and 01 year house job.
Conditions:
– Age Limit: Maximum age limit 33 years.
– Preference will be given to Local / Domicile candidates.
– All posts are on purely temporary basis in WAPDA Hospital Quetta.
– Last date for submission of application is 15th June 2015. No TA/DA is admissible.
– Only short listed candidates will be called for interview.
– Those already employed elsewhere should submit their application through proper channel.
– Management reserves the right not to fill any of all posts.
